Cabrillo Conquistadores (Lompoc, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA), 38-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cabrillo upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Conquistadores travel to Mission Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA) to play the Royals in a Central Coast bout on Monday, January 9. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Mission Prep won 65-53 in their recent league bout against Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA)

Next up, the Titans play the Arroyo Grande Eagles (Arroyo Grande, CA) in a Central Coast bout, on Monday, January 9. Nipomo will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 45-43 league loss to Righetti (Santa Maria, CA).
