Northeast Bradford Panthers (Rome, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball team smash the visiting Canton Warriors (Canton, PA), 51-26 in a league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the North Penn-Liberty Mountie (Liberty, PA) in a Northern Tier - Small game, on Thursday, January 12. Northeast Bradford will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record.

With the defeat, Canton moves to 5-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Sayre (Sayre, PA) to face the Redskins in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 10. The Redskins enter the game with a record of 0-4. Sayre lost 40-33 in their recent league game against North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA)
