Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cardinal Comets (Eldon, IA), 69-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clarke upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Chariton (Chariton, IA) to play the Chargers in a South Central bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Chariton lost 68-40 in their recent league bout against Davis County (Bloomfield, IA)

Next up, the Comets play the Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Cardinal will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
