Georgia High School Basketball - East Coweta overwhelmed by Carrollton

The Carrollton Trojans basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting East Coweta Indians to 17 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Park for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Carrollton will battle a Panthers team coming off a 72-28 league win over Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-3.
The Indians (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Newnan (Newnan, GA). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Newnan was routed by New Manchester (Douglasville, GA), 68-30, in a league contest.
