The Piedmont Classical Bobcats basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Carter G. Woodson Eagle to 6 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winston-Salem Christian for a CAASC Central Carolina - West contest on Tuesday, January 10. Piedmont Classical will battle a Lions team coming off a 66-48 non-league win over Southern Durham (Durham, NC). The Lions record now stands at 20-2.
The Eagle (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Asheboro Hybrid Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Asheboro Hybrid Academy was routed by Millers Creek Christian (Millers Creek, NC), 39-14, in a non-league contest.
