In Friday's league outing, the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) basketball squad felled the host Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), by a margin of 56-38.

The Rockets (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Red Raiders go into the Fox Valley outing with a 14-3 record. In their last outing, Huntley was beaten by Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL), 46-37, in a non-league outing.

The Trojans now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Conant for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 7. Cary-Grove will play a Cougars squad coming off a 43-37 league loss to Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 6-7.
