California High School Basketball - Casa Roble falls to Pioneer

January 6, 2023: Woodland, CA 95776

In Friday's league match, the host Pioneer Patriots basketball team scored a good 45-35 triumph over the Casa Roble Rams.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) in a Golden Empire League match, on Monday, January 9. Pioneer will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 6-7 record after their 57-24 non-league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA).

With the defeat, Casa Roble moves to 7-10 on the year. The Rams host Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA) to meet the Mavericks in a Golden Empire League match on Monday, January 9. The Mavericks enter the match with a record of 4-6. Mesa Verde won 32-18 in their recent league match against Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA)
