The Cedartown Bulldogs basketball team (Cedartown, GA), was overwhelmed 66-21 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA)
The Bruins now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast Whitfield County for a AAAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Northwest Whitfield will confront a Raiders team coming off a 48-17 league loss to Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-8.
The Bulldogs (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Cartersville (Cartersville, GA). The Hurricanes come into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Cartersville trounced Rockmart (Rockmart, GA), 58-39, in a non-league battle.
