The Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN), 72-25 in Friday's non-league test.
The Rebels (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Centennial (Circle Pines, MN). The Cougars go into the AAAA Section 7 test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Centennial walloped Blaine (Blaine, MN), 61-53, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Blaine for a AAAA Section 7 test on Tuesday, January 10. Coon Rapids will encounter a Bengals squad coming off a 61-53 league loss to Centennial (Circle Pines, MN). The Bengals record now stands at 6-3.
