The Cheboygan Chiefs basketball team (Cheboygan, MI), was overwhelmed 58-19 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI)
The Blue Devils now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alpena for a non-league battle on Monday, January 9. Sault Area will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 52-29 league loss to Petoskey (Petoskey, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-6.
The Chiefs (0-9) will now prepare for their battle against Rogers City (Rogers City, MI). The Hurons come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Rogers City was overwhelmed by St.Ignace (St. Ignace, MI), 54-27, in a non-league battle.
