In Friday's league outing, the North Star Knights (Rudyard, MT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks (Chester, MT), by a margin of 68-38.
The Knights (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, MT). The Pioneers go into the C District 9 outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Big Sandy smashed Box Elder (Box Elder, MT), 76-74, in a league outing.
The Hawks now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hays-Lodge Pole for a C District 9 outing on Saturday, January 7. Chester-Joplin-Inverness will clash with a Thunder Birds squad coming off a 45-43 league win over Turner (Turner, MT). The Thunder Birds record now stands at 3-3.
