Spectators at Friday's league test between the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) and the visiting Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY), witnessed Metcalfe County's basketball squad topple Clinton County by a margin of 48-38.

The Hornets (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Edmonson County notched a victory over South Warren (Bowling Green, KY), 38-36, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Cumberland County for a District 16 test on Tuesday, January 10. Clinton County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 63-54 non-league win over Glasgow (Glasgow, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 10-5.
