Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles (Clyde, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting East Rochester Bombers (East Rochester, NY), 48-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Clyde-Savannah upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Williamson (Williamson, NY) to play the Marauders in a bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Marauders come into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Bombers play the Penfield Patriots (Penfield, NY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. East Rochester will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
