Clyde Bulldogs (Clyde, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles (San Angelo, TX), 48-8 in a league bout.

With the win, Clyde upgrades its record to 11-13 on the season. The Bulldogs host Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 3A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Grape Creek lost 84-8 in their recent league bout against Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Ballinger Bearcats (Ballinger, TX) in a 3A Region I District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 16-9 record after their 40-27 league loss to Wall (Wall, TX).
