Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT), 59-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Coginchaug Regional upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Valley Regional (Deep River, CT) to play the Warriors in a Shoreline bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Valley Regional won 59-31 in their recent league bout against Morgan (Clinton, CT)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) in a Shoreline bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Old Lyme will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 67-14 non-league win over Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT).
