The Commerce Tigers (Commerce, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX), 77-36 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Rains (Emory, TX). The Wildcats go into the 3A Region II District 12 test with a 16-10 record. In their last test, Rains walloped Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX), 76-24, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Edgewood for a 3A Region II District 12 test on Tuesday, January 10. Grand Saline will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-22 league win over Chisum (Paris, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-7.
