The Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons basketball team (Reno, NV), was overwhelmed 39-6 in Friday's league battle with the visiting North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA)

The Lakers now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pershing County for a 2A Northern battle on Saturday, January 7. North Tahoe will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 59-15 league win over Incline (Incline Village, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-2.

The Falcons (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sierra Sage Academy/ROP (Yerington, NV). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Sierra Sage Academy/ROP was overwhelmed by Pershing County (Lovelock, NV), 47-30, in a non-league battle.
