North Carolina High School Basketball - Corinth Holders thwarted by Willow Spring

The Corinth Holders Pirates basketball team (Wendell, NC), was toppled 54-34 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC)

The Storm now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clayton for a 4A Conference 26 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Willow Spring will confront a Comets team coming off a 38-35 league win over Garner (Garner, NC). The Comets record now stands at 9-6.

The Pirates (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Garner (Garner, NC). The Trojans come into the 4A Conference 26 battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Garner was toppled by Clayton (Clayton, NC), 38-35, in a league battle.
