North Carolina High School Basketball - Cornerstone Charter fells River Mill

January 6, 2023: Graham, NC 27253

Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), 45-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cornerstone Charter upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Cardinals host Bethany (Summerfield, NC) to play the Wolves in a 1A Conference 32 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Bethany lost 34-32 in their recent league bout against Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) in a 1A Conference 13 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. River Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 27-17 non-league loss to North Moore (Robbins, NC).
