Cornerstone Christian School Cougars (Bellevue, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA), 41-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cornerstone Christian School upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Cougars host Boys Town (Boys Town, NE) to clash with the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Boys Town lost 49-13 in their recent non-league bout against Schuyler (Schuyler, NE)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the College View Academy Eagles (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Whiting will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 38-15 non-league loss to East Butler (Brainard, NE).
