Rhode Island High School Basketball - Cranston East topples Tiverton

In Friday's league outing, the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) basketball squad beat the visiting Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI), by a count of 49-37.

The Thunderbolts (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies go into the Division 2 outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Mt. Hope defeated Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI), 48-43, in a league outing.

The Tigers now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Moses Brown for a Division 2 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Tiverton will clash with a Quakers squad coming off a 39-30 non-league win over Wheeler (Providence, RI). The Quakers record now stands at 6-0.
