The James Monroe Yellow Jackets basketball team (Fredericksburg, VA), was overwhelmed 78-56 in Friday's league battle with the host Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA)
The Blue Devils now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Courtland for a Battlefield battle on Tuesday, January 10. Culpeper County will confront a Cougars team coming off a 59-46 league loss to Caroline (Milford, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-8.
The Yellow Jackets (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Orange County was overwhelmed by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 65-45, in a league battle.
