Maryland High School Basketball - Poolesville thwarts Damascus

The Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD) basketball knocked off the host Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD), 52-37 in Friday's non-league test.

The Falcons (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Rockville (Rockville, MD). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Rockville notched a victory over Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD), 37-18, in a league test.

The Hornets now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Bethesda-Chevy Chase for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17.
