The Wenatchee Panthers basketball team (Wenatchee, WA), was overwhelmed 69-34 in Friday's league battle with the host Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA)
The Pirates now possess a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sunnyside for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle on Saturday, January 7. Davis will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 64-24 league win over Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-4.
The Panthers (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA). The Wildcats come into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Eastmont was overwhelmed by Eisenhower (Yakima, WA), 79-58, in a league battle.
