With the victory, South Haven upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host West Elk (Howard, KS) to play the Patriots in a South Central Border bout on Friday, January 27. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the play the Caldwell Bluejays (Caldwell, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Dexter will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bluejays come into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 58-12 non-league loss to Pretty Prairie (Pretty Prairie, KS).
