The Round Top-Carmine Cubs (Carmine, TX) basketball felled the visiting Dime Box Longhorns (Dime Box, TX), 50-30 in Friday's league test.
The Cubs (5-5) will now prepare for their test against McDade (McDade, TX). The go into the 1A Region IV District 29 test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, McDade was beaten by Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX), 35-28, in a league test.
The Longhorns now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Calvert for a 1A Region IV District 29 test on Friday, January 13.
