The Pearl City Wolves basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Durand Bulldogs to 16 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.

The Wolves now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orangeville for a Northwest Upstate Illini - North contest on Tuesday, January 10. Pearl City will battle a Broncos team coming off a 47-11 non-league win over Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 15-3.

The Bulldogs (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Aquin Catholic (Freeport, IL). The Bulldogs enter the Northwest Upstate Illini - North contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Aquin Catholic was routed by Amboy (Amboy, IL), 32-21, in a non-league contest.
