North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA), 51-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Iowa upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA) to play the Broncos in a North Iowa bout on Monday, January 9. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Eagles play the St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA) in a North Central bout, on Monday, January 9. Eagle Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Gaels come into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 60-21 league loss to Algona (Algona, IA).
