Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA), 58-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Gladbrook-Reinbeck upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Rebels travel to Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-2.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. East Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 42-31 non-league win over Van Meter (Van Meter, IA).
