The Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA) basketball crushed the host Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA), 69-19 in Friday's league test.
The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA). The go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center walloped Madrid (Madrid, IA), 50-10, in a non-league test.
