Texas High School Basketball - Riverside trounces Fabens

The Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) basketball crushed the host Fabens Wildcats (Fabens, TX), 74-7 in Friday's league test.

The Rangers (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Lobos go into the 4A Region I District 2 test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Mountain View walloped Loretto (El Paso, TX), 60-31, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to Clint for a 4A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, January 10. Fabens will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 63-29 league win over San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Lions record now stands at 14-8.
