With the victory, Rio upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Tri-County (Plainfield, WI) to play the Penguins in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Penguins come into the bout with a record of 2-5.

With the defeat, Fall River moves to 6-6 on the year. The Pirates travel to Randolph (Randolph, WI) to face the Rockets in a Trailways - West game on Saturday, January 7. The Rockets enter the game with a record of 10-3. Randolph won 41-29 in their recent league game against Markesan (Markesan, WI)
