The Stevenson Spartans basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Franklin Patriots to 18 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belleville for a Kensington Lakes - East contest on Tuesday, January 10. Stevenson will battle a Tigers team coming off a 44-41 league loss to Wayne Memorial (Wayne, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.

The Patriots (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Churchill (Livonia, MI). The Chargers come into the Kensington Lakes - East contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Churchill was routed by Dearborn (Dearborn, MI), 43-13, in a league contest.
