Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders (Lyons, GA), 37-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Frederica Academy upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The travel to Southside Christian (Waycross, GA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Southside Christian won 45-24 in their recent non-league bout against Corinth Christian Academy (Jasper, FL)

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots (Douglas, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Robert Toombs Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 64-52 non-league win over Atkinson County (Pearson, GA).
