In Friday's non-league outing, the Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX), by a count of 75-40.

The Panthers (18-3) will now prepare for their outing against Forestburg (Forestburg, TX). The Longhorns go into the 1A Region III District 22 outing with a 0-6 record.

The Leopards now hold a 2-19 record. They play next when they travel to Burkburnett for a 4A Region I District 7 outing on Tuesday, January 10.
