The Genoa Area Comets basketball team (Genoa, OH), was routed 48-18 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Woodmore Wildcats (Elmore, OH)
The Wildcats now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake for a Northern Buckeye battle on Thursday, January 12.
The Comets (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fostoria (Fostoria, OH). The Redmen come into the Northern Buckeye battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Fostoria trounced Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH), 63-58, in a non-league battle.
