Illinois High School Basketball - York thwarts Glenbard West

The York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL), 50-31 in Friday's league test.

The Dukes (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Panthers go into the West Suburban - Silver test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Proviso West notched a victory over Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL), 43-41, in a league test.

The Hilltoppers now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lemont for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7.
