Texas High School Basketball - Gorman ripped by Huckabay

The Huckabay Indians basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Gorman Panthers to 24 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 25-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gordon for a 1A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Huckabay will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 42-30 league win over Lingleville (Lingleville, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 18-5.

The Panthers (23-2) will now prepare for their contest against Strawn (Strawn, TX). The Greyhounds go into the 1A Region III District 19 bout with a 3-7 record. In their last bout, Strawn overwhelmed Bluff Dale (Bluff Dale, TX), 72-29, in a league bout.
