Texas High School Basketball - Hereford thwarts West Plains

The Hereford Whitefaces (Hereford, TX) basketball knocked off the host West Plains Wolves (Amarillo, TX), 50-36 in Friday's league test.
The Whitefaces (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Randall (Amarillo, TX). The Raiders go into the 4A Region I District 4 test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Randall went down by Canyon (Canyon, TX), 47-37, in a league test.
The Wolves now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Borger for a 4A Region I District 4 test on Friday, January 13. West Plains will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-37 league win over Dumas (Dumas, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-6.
