In Friday's non-league outing, the High Point Academy Grizzlies (Spartanburg, SC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Spartanburg Day Griffins (Spartanburg, SC), by a margin of 69-37.
The Grizzlies (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Knights go into the A Region 1 outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, St. Joseph's Catholic smashed First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest (Greenville, SC), 39-33, in a non-league outing.
The Griffins now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest for a SCISA AAA Region III outing on Tuesday, January 10. Spartanburg Day will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 53-14 league win over Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Crusaders record now stands at 10-3.
