The Homestead Highlanders basketball team scored 82 points and held the host West Bend West Spartans to 36 in the Highlanders league triumph on Friday.
The Highlanders now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grafton for a North Shore contest on Tuesday, January 10. Homestead will battle a Black Hawks team coming off a 55-45 league win over Slinger (Slinger, WI). The Black Hawks record now stands at 9-3.
The Spartans (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hartford (Hartford, WI). The Orioles enter the North Shore contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Hartford triumphed over Kettle Moraine Lutheran (Jackson, WI), 63-60, in a non-league contest.
