The Tyrone Golden Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Huntingdon Bearcats to 33 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Juniata Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Tyrone will battle a Hornets team coming off a 29-18 league win over Mount Union (Mount Union, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 8-1.
The Bearcats (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Bison enter the Mountain contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Clearfield ran past Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA), 60-50, in a league contest.
