Tennessee High School Basketball - Jefferson County knocked off by Sevier County

The Sevier County Smoky Bears basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Jefferson County Patriots to 33 in the Smoky Bears league triumph on Friday.
The Smoky Bears now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gatlinburg-Pittman for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Sevier County will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Alcoa (Alcoa, TN). The Highlanders record now stands at 14-3.
The Patriots (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Greeneville (Greeneville, TN). The Green Devils enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Greeneville ran past Science Hill (Johnson City, TN), 65-38, in a non-league contest.
