Texas High School Basketball - Yorktown can't hold off Kenedy

The Kenedy Lions basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Yorktown Wildcats to 32 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Three Rivers for a 2A Region IV District 31 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Kenedy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 36-31 league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-15.
The Wildcats (10-15) will now prepare for their contest against Refugio (Refugio, TX). The Bobcats enter the 2A Region IV District 31 contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, Refugio nudged Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX), 42-39, in a league contest.
