The Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA), 46-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Antelopes go into the WPIAL 3A 2 test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Avonworth got by Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA), 40-30, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Winchester Thurston for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Seton LaSalle will encounter a squad coming off a 44-16 non-league loss to Propel Montour (McKees Rocks, PA). The record now stands at 4-3.
