With the victory, Shawnee Heights upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Turner (Kansas City, KS) to play the Golden Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Golden Bears come into the bout with a record of 0-6. Turner lost 47-12 in their recent non-league bout against Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS)

Next up, the Lions play the Basehor-Linwood Bobcats (Basehor, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Lansing will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
