Illinois High School Basketball - Prairie Ridge can't hold off Larkin

The Larkin Royals basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Prairie Ridge Wolves to 33 in the Royals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Royals now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harvest Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Larkin will battle a Lions team coming off a 55-36 non-league loss to Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Lions record now stands at 3-7.

The Wolves (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hampshire (Hampshire, IL). The Whip-Purs enter the Fox Valley contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Hampshire was nudged by Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL), 53-42, in a non-league contest.
