Little Snake River Rattlers (Baggs, WY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Meeker Cowboys (Meeker, CO), 46-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Little Snake River upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Rattlers host Saratoga (Saratoga, WY) to play the Panthers in a 1A Southwest bout on Friday, January 13. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Cowboys play the Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO) in a 3A Western Slope bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Meeker will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 51-37 non-league win over Moffat County (Craig, CO).
