Virginia High School Basketball - Byrd overwhelmed by Lord Botetourt

The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Byrd Terriers to 29 in the Cavaliers league victory on Friday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northside for a Blue Ridge contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lord Botetourt will battle a Vikings team coming off a 75-24 league loss to Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-6.
The Terriers (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Western Albemarle was routed by Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA), 37-34, in a league contest.
