The Lorena Leopards basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Rockdale Tigers to 21 in the Leopards league triumph on Friday.

The Leopards now sport a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Little River Academy for a 3A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lorena will meet a Bumblebees team coming off a 60-19 league win over C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Bumblebees record now stands at 20-6.

The Tigers (8-17) will now prepare for their contest against Troy (Troy, TX). The Trojans enter the 3A Region III District 19 contest with a 10-12 record.
